Refund Policy
Effective September 15, 2026
Overview
This Refund Policy applies to catering and related services provided by Excellence & Cuisines, a brand of VU ICA BAKERY & FOOD LLC. Because every event requires advance planning, staffing, purchasing, and preparation, refunds depend on the timing and circumstances of the cancellation.
Cancellation fee
The cancellation fee may be deducted from any amount already paid. If payments received are less than the cancellation fee, the remaining balance will be due.
Refund eligibility
After the 20% cancellation fee is applied, any remaining eligible amount paid may be refunded, less:
- services already performed;
- non-refundable deposits or charges expressly identified in the client agreement;
- food, rentals, permits, supplies, or other third-party costs already purchased or committed for the event; and
- other amounts that are non-refundable under the signed proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
How to cancel
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@gourmet-corp.com. A cancellation is effective when we confirm receipt in writing. Please include the client name, event date, and invoice or proposal number.
Approved refunds
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method when possible. Processing times may vary depending on the bank or payment provider.
Company cancellation
If Excellence & Cuisines cancels a service and cannot provide a mutually agreed replacement or rescheduled date, the client will receive a refund of amounts paid for services not provided. The 20% client cancellation fee will not apply.
